Thank you very much for the invitation to share my volunteer experience with YMCA Moldova. For me, volunteering began in the spring of 2023–2024 (I no longer remember the exact year, but it was definitely in the spring 😊). Since then, my involvement in the organization’s projects has become one of the most beautiful periods of my life.

During this time, I have taken part in various activities, but the most memorable experience remains volunteering at an event at Daac Hermes. It was something completely new for me, and I enjoyed it to the fullest. There I understood that volunteering is not just about being present, but about real work, involvement, and the desire to help people. It was a valuable lesson about responsibility and teamwork.

I also participated in the Volunteers’ School, a project organized by YMCA, where I learned many practical things and met extraordinary people. Through volunteering, I encountered different individuals with unique ideas and personalities, and some of them became close friends. The community created there is warm and welcoming, which made me truly feel part of the team.

Another beautiful experience was taking part in the YMCA summer camp, where the atmosphere was full of energy, engaging activities, and moments that stayed in my heart.

Volunteering with YMCA Moldova has helped me grow, develop, and discover how much I enjoy working in the community. It has given me wonderful memories, new friends, and a genuine sense of belonging.
