The Employment Directorate of Balti has been actively involved in efforts to inform and support Ukrainian refugees. According to statements by the Directorate’s leadership and local reports, since the beginning of the war, dozens of Ukrainian refugees have been employed in Balti, including in various fields, as a result of the mobilization of local institutions and the support provided by NGOs and external partners.

An important contribution to supporting refugees was also made by YMCA Moldova, which offered food vouchers, thus contributing to covering the basic needs of displaced people and facilitating their easier integration into the community.

We would like to thank our partners at Presbyterian Disaster Assistance for their continued support, which contributes to the implementation of this program and the development of activities for refugees from the Republic of Moldova.
