YMCA Moldova visited the Digital Educational Center within the “Onițcani” Gymnasium in Criuleni district. The meeting provided the opportunity for an open dialogue with the gymnasium administration, as well as direct interaction with students involved in digital activities.
The main purpose of the visit was to learn more about how the institution integrates digital education into the educational process and to observe the impact that new technologies have on young people. YMCA Moldova representatives witnessed practical activities carried out within the center, where students use digital tools for research, teamwork, developing IT skills and carrying out creative projects.
The discussions also highlighted the importance of digital literacy in an increasingly connected society, as well as the essential role of teachers in guiding students towards a responsible and effective use of technology. The visit confirmed that investing in digital infrastructure and digital skills training significantly contributes to increasing motivation for learning and preparing young people for the future.
YMCA Moldova and HP Inc. reaffirm their commitment to supporting initiatives that promote equitable access to technology and the development of digital skills among children and youth in the Republic of Moldova.
