The director of the “Alecu Russo” Theoretical High School in Chisinau, Mrs. Lora, talks about the impact of the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project and the importance of the support provided to students.

During the visit of the YMCA Moldova team, the director invited the students of the institution to hand them the schoolbags and backpacks provided through the project, transforming this moment into a gesture of support and encouragement before the start of the new academic year.

The distribution of school bags is part of a national initiative implemented by YMCA Moldova, in partnership with HP Inc. and with the support of the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies. Through this project, over 18,000 school bags and backpacks will reach students from educational institutions throughout the Republic of Moldova, contributing to improving learning conditions and promoting equal access to education.
