The Board of YMCA Moldova

The YMCA Moldova Board is the organization’s supreme governing body, responsible for its strategic direction, transparency, and effective functioning. Composed of democratically elected members, the Board defines the organization’s vision, objectives, and priorities, approves annual work plans and budgets, and monitors the proper use of financial resources.

It oversees the activity of the Executive Secretariat and reviews financial, administrative, and audit reports to ensure compliance with national legislation and the international standards of the YMCA movement. The Board approves and updates internal policies — such as those related to human resources, protection and inclusion, governance, procurement, and ethics — ensuring a clear and professional operational framework.

The Board also represents the organization in its relations with public and international partners, contributes to the development of new projects, and supports the expansion of YMCA’s impact within the community.

Through its work, the Board ensures the continuity, integrity, and long-term vision of YMCA Moldova.
