YMCA Moldova organized the second edition of Dignity Camp in the summer of 2024, a youth camp dedicated to personal development, non-formal education, and the promotion of respect, inclusion, and empathy among Moldovan and Ukrainian refugee youth. Over the course of several days, participants experienced an engaging program that combined training activities with team-building games, guided discussions, and moments of reflection.
The camp program included interactive sessions on dignity, mental health, leadership, effective communication, resilience, and community engagement. Young participants had the opportunity to take part in practical workshops, self-awareness exercises, and outdoor activities—all designed to help them discover their potential and strengthen their confidence.
One of the most appreciated aspects of the camp was the atmosphere of friendship and mutual support created by both participants and facilitators. Dignity Camp 2.0 provided a safe and inspiring space where every young person felt heard, understood, and encouraged to express themselves freely.
We invite you to watch the video below and feel the energy, emotions, and memorable moments lived at Dignity Camp 2.0 – YMCA Moldova 2024.
