In 2025, YMCA Moldova continued to strengthen its national role in humanitarian assistance, digital inclusion, non-formal education, and youth empowerment across the Republic of Moldova.
The 2025 Annual Report reflects a year of strategic interventions, strong international partnerships, and measurable impact at both national and regional levels.
🔹 Support for Ukrainian Refugees
In partnership with Y’s Men International (Switzerland) and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (USA), more than 4,100 Ukrainian refugees received logistical, legal, psychological, informational support, and vouchers for basic needs (pp. 2–3).
🔹 Career Orientation and Youth Employment
Over 1,600 young people from rural areas and from Chișinău municipality participated in vocational guidance programmes, critical thinking development, CV writing workshops, and employment readiness training (pp. 4 and 6).
These initiatives were implemented in partnership with Kerk in Actie (Netherlands), the General Directorate for Education, Youth and Sport, and the Municipal Youth Center of Chișinău.
🔹 Digital Education and Technological Equipment at National Scale
– More than 340 educational institutions equipped with HP laptops
– Estimated impact: +258,000 beneficiaries (p. 8)
– HyperX digital equipment donation worth over 8 million MDL, reaching +67,000 beneficiaries (p. 9)
– 70 HP HOPE laptops donated to youth centers (p. 10)
– More than 150 teachers from 18 institutions graduated from the HP IDEA programme (p. 5)
🔹 Mental Health and Youth Leadership
Through the Youth-Led Solutions Seed Funding programme, over 100 children and young people benefited from activities focused on emotional well-being and youth capacity building (p. 7).
🔹 European and Global Engagement
YMCA Moldova actively participated in YMCA Europe and World YMCA forums and assemblies, strengthening its position within the European and global YMCA network (p. 12).
Additionally, the PACE Erasmus+ project was launched, with an estimated impact of +2,000 young people in 6 countries (p. 11).

Expenses – 3,672,079 MDL
Balance as of January 1, 2026 – 310,765 MDL (p. 13)
