SUMMARY:PACE Project Launch Event: Promoting Access\, Collaboration\, and Empowerment for Ukrainian Youth
DESCRIPTION:YMCA Moldova is pleased to announce the official launch event of the project PACE – Promoting Access\, Collaboration\, and Empowerment for Ukrainian Youth\, a program funded by the European Commission in which YMCA Moldova serves as the lead coordinator of a consortium of six organizations from Moldova\, Ukraine\, Georgia\, and Ireland. The PACE project aims to support the inclusion of displaced Ukrainian youth\, strengthen cooperation among youth organizations\, and create meaningful opportunities for development\, participation\, and skills enhancement. \nThe launch event will take place on 9 December 2025\, from 09:00 to 13:30\, at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM)\, Block F\, second floor\, office 203\, 61 Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street\, Chișinău. Participants will have access to simultaneous translation in English\, Romanian\, and Ukrainian. \nThe agenda will include registration and a coffee break\, followed by opening speeches delivered by distinguished representatives from the fields of education\, European diplomacy\, and the nonprofit sector: \n\n\nAlexandru Stratan\, Rector of ASEM\, Academician\, Chairman of Junior Achievement Moldova \n\n\nDan Perciun\, Minister of Education and Research \n\n\nIwona Piórko\, Ambassador\, Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova \n\n\nDumitru Roibu\, Executive Director\, YMCA Moldova \n\n\nThe event will be moderated by a young participant from Ukraine\, giving visibility and voice to the community for whom this project is designed. Media attendance will include Realitatea TV\, which will provide an online broadcast\, and TV8\, which will feature a news report. \nThrough the PACE project\, YMCA Moldova reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the resilience of Ukrainian youth\, developing relevant training programs\, and fostering a regional network of cooperation in the youth sector. \nProject launch event.pptx – Google Slides
