YMCA Moldova organized an activity in the town of Basarabeasca to distribute vouchers to a group of Ukrainian refugees residing in the community. The event took place within the project “Aid and Support for Ukrainian Refugees in Moldova,” an initiative through which refugees receive vouchers for purchasing food products—an essential form of support for meeting their daily needs.

This type of assistance not only ensures access to food but also strengthens the sense of stability, dignity, and integration for displaced individuals who have found refuge in communities across the Republic of Moldova. By offering vouchers, YMCA Moldova aims to provide flexible and respectful support that directly responds to the real needs of the beneficiaries.

This activity was made possible thanks to the generous support of our partners at Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, to whom we extend our gratitude for their trust and ongoing collaboration. Their contribution enables the implementation of actions with a direct impact on the well-being of refugees and reinforces the role of YMCA Moldova in providing humanitarian assistance at the community level.
