The Refugee Desk, part of the YMCA Moldova Community Center in Chisinau, provides assistance to refugees in difficult situations by providing food vouchers and providing practical guidance for easier integration into the community.

Recently, several refugees in Chisinau have received this type of support — help provided discreetly, but with an important impact on their sense of safety and maintaining dignity during sensitive times.

Such actions demonstrate, in a concrete way, that solidarity remains an essential value in the Republic of Moldova, and our community continues to be receptive and involved in supporting those in need.

The “Aid and Support for Ukrainian Refugees in Moldova” project, implemented by YMCA Moldova in partnership with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA), aims to provide humanitarian aid, emotional support, and integration programs dedicated to Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.
