YMCA Moldova reaffirms its commitment to youth development in Moldovan villages through the implementation of the “Career Guidance and Employment for Rural Youth in Moldova” project, an initiative aimed at increasing youth employability and strengthening their career guidance capabilities. The project addresses a real need in rural communities, where access to information, mentoring, and educational resources is often limited.

During a new working visit, the YMCA Moldova team reached Pîrîta, Dubăsari District, where they conducted a series of interactive activities for middle school students. The sessions included discussions about professions, labor market trends, CV writing, basic digital skills, and modern learning tools, providing young people with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their professional future.

Increasing opportunities for rural youth is a priority for YMCA Moldova. We believe that every young person—regardless of where they live—deserves the chance to discover their potential and access resources that will help them build a solid professional path. Through such activities, we bring essential information, counseling, and motivation services closer to communities.

We extend our sincere thanks to Pîrîta Middle School for the hospitality and openness with which they received our team. Collaboration with local educational institutions is essential for the project’s success and for ensuring the continuity of youth-focused actions.

YMCA Moldova will continue to visit other localities, expanding the project’s impact and strengthening the national support program for youth integration into the labor market.
