YMCA Moldova continues to support young people in their transition from school to the labor market through structured career orientation activities. In this context, Seva, an 11th-grade student at the “Kiril and Metodiu” Educational Complex in Chișinău, participated in one of the sessions dedicated to developing the skills needed for entering the workforce. In his video testimonial, Seva describes the experience as useful and motivating, helping him better understand his goals and the steps necessary to build a career.

The activity is part of the project “Career Orientation and Employment for Rural Youth in the Municipality of Chișinău,” through which YMCA Moldova organizes sessions focused on professional skills development, self-awareness, and job readiness. The project aims to provide young people with the tools and information they need to make informed decisions about their educational and professional future.

The program of the session attended by Seva included exercises for identifying professional interests, mock job interviews, presentations on current labor market trends, and discussions about career development opportunities. These activities were designed to help young people gain confidence, clarity, and practical skills relevant for real-life situations.

The project is implemented by YMCA Moldova with the financial support of the Municipal Grant Program for Youth Organizations, managed by the General Directorate for Education, Youth and Sports and the Chișinău Municipal Youth Center, under the auspices of the Chișinău Municipality. This partnership helps create a strong foundation for youth development and strengthens the role of youth organizations in shaping the next generation.

We invite you to watch the video to discover Seva’s perspective on the activity and its impact on his educational and professional journey.
