HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education: The first beneficiaries of the project have received the donations!
YMCA Moldova is implementing the HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education project, an initiative carried out in partnership with HP Inc. and supported by the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies, aiming to support children and youth from rural and disadvantaged communities in the Republic of Moldova.
The first beneficiary institution of the project is A.O. Chiliuța Noastră, which distributed schoolbags and school bags to children from the village of Vatici, Orhei district, who are about to start grade 1 and grade 9. For these children and their families, the donation represented not only material support, but also joy and encouragement before the new school year.
As part of the project, over 18,000 schoolbags and bags will be distributed to students across the country. Beneficiaries will be identified through gymnasiums, high schools, youth centers, orphanages, youth organizations and other public and community institutions, so that the support reaches the children who need it most.
We believe that every child deserves to start the school year with confidence, dignity and equal opportunities in education. Through this initiative, we contribute together to reducing inequalities and creating better opportunities for children in rural communities of the Republic of Moldova.
We thank HP Inc., the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies and all the partners involved for supporting this initiative that brings a real impact to children’s lives.
