We continue to support educational institutions in the Republic of Moldova!
More and more schools in rural communities are benefiting from backpacks provided by YMCA Moldova as part of the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project, implemented with the support of HP Inc. and the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies.

Through this initiative, hundreds of students receive new school bags, ready to accompany them at the beginning of the new school year and provide them with practical support in their daily activities. The program is intended for educational institutions throughout the country and contributes to improving the study conditions for students, including children from families in vulnerable situations, but not limited to this category.

The representatives of the beneficiary institutions appreciated the involvement of YMCA Moldova and its partners, emphasizing that such donations represent valuable support for students and local communities. Each schoolbag provided means an investment in education and equal opportunities for children.

The donations are part of a national program through which over 18,000 school bags and backpacks are distributed to students throughout the Republic of Moldova, supporting access to education and the development of a generation prepared for the future.
