We invite you to watch some images from the backpack distribution event organized by YMCA Moldova as part of the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project, implemented in partnership with HP Inc. and with the support of the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies.

Through this initiative, students in the Republic of Moldova benefit from school bags and backpacks that will accompany them at the beginning of the new academic year. For children, these represent more than material support – they are a source of joy, confidence and motivation to return to school better prepared and with enthusiasm.

The program contributes to supporting equitable access to education and supports children, families and educational institutions in communities across the country. By involving partners and collaborating with local communities, we want the necessary resources to reach where they can have a real impact on children’s educational journey.

In total, over 18,000 school bags and backpacks will reach students in the Republic of Moldova. Behind this figure are thousands of children who will be able to start the new school year with more confidence and with the feeling that they are supported on their path to education.

Each backpack provided means concrete support and, at the same time, a message of encouragement for children. Through the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education”, we continue to contribute to creating more equitable educational opportunities and a start to the school year with more chances for every child.
