The YMCA Moldova team visited the “Ivan Bondarev” Gymnasium in the town of Basarabeasca, where they organized an interactive session focused on the personal and professional development of young people, career guidance, and identifying future opportunities.

The activity was carried out as part of the project “Career Guidance and Employment for Rural Youth in the Republic of Moldova,” implemented by YMCA Moldova in partnership with Kerk in Actie (the Netherlands). Through this project, young people are supported in better understanding their interests and skills, exploring various career paths, and making more informed decisions regarding their education and future careers.

During the session, students participated in practical exercises, interactive activities, and discussions regarding career choice, the development of digital and professional skills, effective communication, and the importance of continuous preparation for current labor market demands.

At the same time, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the training, development, and employment opportunities available in the Republic of Moldova. Young people were encouraged to analyze their own goals, leverage their strengths, and view the career choice process as a journey built through information, experience, and continuous skill development.

Through such non-formal education activities, YMCA Moldova aims to provide young people with practical tools and useful information to help them be better prepared for continuing their studies, entering the labor market, and building their own professional paths.
