Education begins with equal opportunities for every child, and a schoolbag prepared for school means more than just an accessory – it is concrete support, encouragement, and a step forward towards a better future.

The president of Straseni district, Mariana Dîmcenco, appreciated the YMCA Moldova initiative to provide schoolbags to students from rural communities, emphasizing that such donations contribute to supporting families and motivate children to start the new school year with more confidence and enthusiasm.

The schoolbags were provided as part of the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project, implemented by YMCA Moldova with the support of HP Inc. and the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies. The initiative is part of a national program through which over 18,000 schoolbags and school bags reach students throughout the Republic of Moldova, contributing to promoting equal access to education and supporting children who are most in need.
