The principal of the “Ion Creangă” Gymnasium in Micleușeni commune, Strașeni district, Mrs. Silvia, talks about the impact that the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project has on students and how important this support is for families and children who need support at the beginning of the new school year.

The donation of school bags and backpacks offered by YMCA Moldova represents more than material aid. For many students, this means a more carefree start to the school year, a source of confidence and motivation. Each backpack offered contributes to creating better conditions for learning and gives children the chance to step into the new academic year with more joy, dignity and enthusiasm. This action is part of the national initiative implemented by YMCA Moldova, in partnership with HP Inc. and with the support of the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies.

Through the project, over 18,000 school bags and backpacks will reach students in educational institutions throughout the Republic of Moldova, contributing to promoting equitable access to education and supporting children in communities most in need.
