The principal of the “Mihai Viteazul” Gymnasium in the city of Straseni talks about the impact of the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project and the importance of the support offered to students and their families at the beginning of the new school year.

The school bags and backpacks provided by the project represent more than just material aid. For many children, they mean the opportunity to start the school year better prepared, with more confidence, motivation and desire to learn. At the same time, the donation supports families, contributing to reducing part of the expenses necessary to prepare children for school.

As part of the initiative, over 18,000 school bags and backpacks will be distributed to students in educational institutions throughout the Republic of Moldova. Through the beneficiary schools, these will reach children directly, providing them with practical and necessary support for their school activities.

Through this initiative, YMCA Moldova, together with project partners, contributes to creating better conditions for education and supporting children so that they can enter the new school year with more confidence and enthusiasm.
