YMCA Moldova’s Mobile Center for Digital Inclusion has reached the Hîncești district, bringing technology and digital learning opportunities closer to young people in local communities. Through this initiative, participants had the chance to discover new technological tools, develop their digital skills, and explore the opportunities that technology offers for education and future career preparation.

The activity was organized as part of the “Digital Empowerment Programme 2026” project, implemented by YMCA Moldova, which aims to promote digital inclusion, facilitate access to modern educational resources, and develop the skills young people need to integrate into the labor market.

Through the Mobile Hub for Digital Inclusion, laptops and modern digital tools were made available to participants, with interactive sessions and practical activities organized to help them become familiar with new technologies. Young people had the opportunity to explore online learning platforms, discover effective ways to use digital resources, and understand the importance of technological skills in their educational and professional journeys.

Special emphasis was placed on developing practical skills, using the internet responsibly and safely, identifying professional training opportunities, and leveraging digital tools in daily activities. At the same time, participants were encouraged to explore how technology can contribute to fostering creativity, communication, and collaboration, as well as the ability to adapt to the demands of an ever-changing labor market.

By carrying out these activities within local communities, YMCA Moldova contributes to narrowing the digital divide between urban and rural areas, providing young people with access to modern educational experiences and opportunities for personal and professional development.

Through the “Digital Empowerment Programme 2026” project, YMCA Moldova reaffirms its commitment to promoting digital education and supporting young people in the Republic of Moldova in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to benefit from the opportunities offered by digital transformation and to build a professional future tailored to the demands of modern society.
