Ms. Marcela, the principal of the “Universul” Theoretical High School in Sărata Galbenă, Hincești district, talks about the impact of the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project and the importance of the support offered to students and their families at the beginning of the new school year.

For many families, preparing children for school involves significant expenses. In this context, the schoolbags and bags provided by the project represent concrete support for parents and, for children, an additional reason for joy, confidence and enthusiasm for returning to school.

Through the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education”, over 18,000 school bags and backpacks will reach students in educational institutions across the country. Beyond material aid, the initiative sends an important message of solidarity and support for education.

Each backpack donated contributes to a more optimistic start to the school year and reminds children that their education matters. Such initiatives bring resources closer to communities and encourage students to step into school with more confidence and motivation.
