The YMCA Moldova team visited the “Perlele Nistrului” camp in the town of Vadul lui Vodă, where they conducted an interactive session for young people interested in personal and professional development and in identifying new opportunities for the future.
The activity was organized as part of the project “Career Guidance and Employment for Youth in Rural Areas of Chișinău Municipality,” through which YMCA Moldova aims to support young people in career guidance, skills development, and preparation for integration into the labor market.
During the session, participants had the opportunity to learn more about training and employment opportunities available in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the importance of continuously developing the skills needed to build a career path. Discussions covered topics such as identifying personal interests and abilities, choosing a career direction, and preparing for future educational and employment opportunities.
Special attention was paid to the development of professional and entrepreneurial skills. Through practical exercises, discussions, and interactive activities, young people were encouraged to analyze their own goals, discover new perspectives, and better understand the role of personal and professional skills in shaping their future.
Such activities contribute to raising young people’s level of awareness and provide them with useful tools for making better-informed decisions regarding education, their careers, and integration into the labor market.
The project is financially supported under the Municipal Grant Program for youth organizations in the Municipality of Chișinău, launched by the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport and the Chișinău Municipal Youth Center, under the auspices of the Chișinău City Hall.
Through the implementation of this project, YMCA Moldova continues to create opportunities for non-formal learning and development, providing young people with access to the information, tools, and opportunities that can help them build a career path tailored to their own interests and aspirations.
