YMCA Moldova attended the schoolbag distribution event organized by the leadership of the Basarabeasca Town Hall and the “Ivan Bondarev” Gymnasium, standing alongside students, teaching staff, and the entire school community in support of this education-focused initiative.

The backpacks provided by YMCA Moldova have reached the institution’s students, offering practical and much-needed support at the start of the new school year. Through this donation, we aim to help create better conditions for education and to instill greater confidence, motivation, and joy in the children as they pursue their studies.

Each backpack provided represents more than just material aid—it is a contribution to the children’s education and development, as well as support for their families. Such initiatives help reduce inequalities and create better opportunities for students, regardless of the community they come from.

The initiative is part of a national program through which over 18,000 schoolbags and backpacks are reaching students across the Republic of Moldova, with special attention paid to the children and communities most in need of support.

Through engagement, collaboration, and solidarity, YMCA Moldova continues to support equitable access to education and to contribute to creating an environment where every child has the chance to learn, grow, and look toward the future with greater confidence.
