YMCA Moldova continues to invest in children’s education and support communities in the Republic of Moldova through the implementation of the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project—an initiative carried out in partnership with HP Inc. and supported by the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies.

As part of the project, children and young people from the village of Vorniceni, Strășeni District, received school backpacks and bags, intended to provide practical support for the start of the new school year. For many of the recipients, these donations represent not only necessary school supplies but also a sign of support, encouragement, and belief in their potential.

Through such actions, the project contributes to reducing disparities between communities and creating more equitable opportunities for children and young people in rural areas. Access to educational resources and timely support can play a significant role in motivating students and fostering better conditions for their development.

Each backpack provided represents an investment in education and a child’s future. We want the recipients to start the school year with greater confidence, motivation, and a desire to learn, knowing that there are people and organizations supporting them on their educational journey.

Through the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education,” YMCA Moldova reaffirms its commitment to supporting equitable access to education and standing by children and young people in need of support, helping to build a future with more opportunities for everyone.
