Vladimir is one of the beneficiaries of the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project, an initiative through which YMCA Moldova aims to support children and young people who need support to start the new school year with more confidence. The YMCA Moldova team visited the “Alecu Russo” Theoretical High School in Chisinau, where, together with the institution’s administration, they offered Vladimir a fully equipped schoolbag, ready for the new academic year.

Through this project, implemented by YMCA Moldova in partnership with HP Inc. and with the support of the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies, we aim to contribute to reducing inequalities in access to education and to offer every child the opportunity to embark on the path of knowledge in better conditions. A schoolbag prepared for school means more than supplies – it means support, encouragement and the chance to participate confidently in the educational process.

Each schoolbag donated represents a step towards more equitable access to education and an investment in the future of children in the Republic of Moldova. Through this initiative, over 18,000 schoolbags and bags will reach children and youth across the country, providing them with the necessary resources for a better start to the school year and demonstrating that, through solid partnerships, we can create real opportunities for future generations.
