YMCA Moldova, together with the Chisinau Education, Youth, and Sport Directorate, attended the event for the distribution of school backpacks and bags organized by the “Mihai Viteazul” Theoretical High School in Chisinau for its students.

During the event, the schoolbags and backpacks provided by YMCA Moldova were distributed to students, offering practical and much-needed support for their daily school activities. Through this initiative, we aim to help create better conditions for education and to boost the children’s confidence and motivation throughout their educational journey.

Each backpack provided means more than just a simple school item—it represents tangible support for students and their families, as well as a contribution toward ensuring an educational environment where every child enjoys equal opportunities for development.

The initiative is part of a broad national program through which over 18,000 schoolbags and backpacks are being distributed to students in educational institutions and communities across the Republic of Moldova.

Through collaboration with educational institutions and local partners, YMCA Moldova continues to support education and contribute to creating more opportunities for children and young people across the country.
