The YMCA Moldova team visited the “Alexandr Pușkin” High School in Fălești, where they conducted an interactive session focused on the personal and professional development of young people, career guidance, and preparing them for future educational and professional opportunities.

This activity is part of the project “Career Guidance and Employment for Rural Youth in the Republic of Moldova,” implemented by YMCA Moldova in partnership with Kerk in Actie (the Netherlands). The project aims to provide young people with information, practical tools, and learning opportunities to help them discover their interests, skills, and professional potential.

During the session, students actively participated in practical exercises, interactive activities, and discussions regarding career choices, setting future goals, and identifying fields that align with their personal interests and aptitudes.

Significant emphasis was placed on developing digital and professional skills, effective communication, self-awareness, and the ability to adapt to changes in the labor market. Young people were encouraged to identify their strengths and understand the importance of continuously developing the skills needed for their educational and professional journeys.

At the same time, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the training and employment opportunities available in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the steps they can take to be better prepared for continuing their studies and integrating into the labor market.

Through such non-formal education activities, YMCA Moldova continues to support young people in the process of professional guidance, providing them with useful information and tools to make more informed decisions and confidently build their own path for the future.
