We invite you to watch highlights from the YMCA Moldova team’s visit to the “Perlele Nistrului” camp in the town of Vadul lui Vodă, where an interactive session was held focused on the personal and professional development of young people and preparing them for the future.

The activity took place as part of the project “Career Guidance and Employment for Rural Youth in the Republic of Moldova,” implemented by YMCA Moldova in partnership with Kerk in Actie (the Netherlands). Through this project, young people benefit from non-formal education activities designed to help them discover their interests and skills, explore various professional fields, and make better-informed decisions regarding their education and careers.

During the session, participants engaged in practical exercises, interactive activities, and discussions regarding career choice, setting personal and professional goals, and the importance of continuous skills development.

Special emphasis was placed on digital and professional skills, effective communication, self-awareness, and the ability to adapt to current labor market demands. Young people were encouraged to identify their strengths and understand how to leverage them in shaping their educational and professional paths.

At the same time, participants learned more about the training, development, and employment opportunities available in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the steps they can take to be better prepared for integration into the labor market.

Through such activities, YMCA Moldova continues to create learning and development opportunities where young people can acquire useful information and skills, explore new perspectives, and make more informed choices regarding their personal and professional futures.
