The 10th edition of Olympic ECOFest 2026 brought the Olympic community together at Valea Morilor in an atmosphere dedicated to sport, an active lifestyle, and environmental responsibility. The event united young people, athletes, and community members through a variety of interactive and educational activities.

YMCA Moldova was present at the event with a series of activities dedicated to young people, through which the participants had the opportunity to discover new opportunities for learning and development. One of the attractions of the day was the Prize Raffle, prepared by the YMCA Moldova team, which added more energy and interaction to the festival participants’ experience.

As part of the “Digital Empowerment Programme 2026” project, YMCA Moldova organized activities focused on developing digital skills and familiarizing young people with the opportunities offered by technology. Participants learned about the role of digital tools in education and in personal and professional development, as well as the importance of digital skills for their future careers.

Through the Mobile Center for Digital Inclusion, YMCA Moldova brings technology and educational resources closer to young people, offering them the opportunity to explore modern tools and develop their skills in a practical and interactive way.

Participation in Olympic ECOFest 2026 represents yet another opportunity to link education, technology, and active youth engagement. Through such initiatives, YMCA Moldova continues to contribute to the development of digital literacy and to preparing young people for the opportunities of an increasingly digitalized society and labor market.
