The YMCA Moldova team visited the “Olimp” Gymnasium in Puhăceni village, Anenii Noi district, where it organized an interactive session dedicated to the personal and professional development of young people and their preparation for future educational and professional choices.

The activity was carried out as part of the project “Career Guidance and Employment for Rural Youth in the Republic of Moldova,” implemented by YMCA Moldova in partnership with Kerk in Actie (the Netherlands). The project aims to provide young people in rural communities with the information, tools, and opportunities to help them identify their interests and skills and make more informed decisions regarding their professional futures.

During the session, students participated in practical exercises, interactive activities, and discussions regarding career choices, identifying strengths, developing digital and professional skills, communication, and preparing for the labor market. Additionally, training, development, and employment opportunities available to young people in the Republic of Moldova were presented.

Through such activities, YMCA Moldova aims to help young people build confidence in their own abilities, encourage them to explore various career paths, and plan their future steps more consciously.

We thank the leadership of the “Olimp” Gymnasium for their openness and cooperation, and the students for their interest, active involvement, and participation in the activities!
