YMCA Moldova continues to invest in children’s education by implementing the “HP-YMCA Initiative for Rural Education” project, an initiative carried out in partnership with HP Inc. and supported by the DAAC Hermes Group of Companies. Within the project, the “Mihail Baban” Gymnasium in the village of Arionești, Dondușeni district and the “Hyperion” Theoretical High School in the village of Gura Galbenei, Cimișlia district benefited from school bags and backpacks provided to the institution’s students.

This support contributes to ensuring a better start to the school year and creating equal opportunities for children from rural and disadvantaged communities. Through this initiative, YMCA Moldova reaffirms its commitment to supporting access to education and to being with children who need support to build a better future.

The initiative is part of a national program through which over 18,000 school bags and backpacks will reach students throughout the Republic of Moldova, contributing to promoting equitable access to education and supporting children in communities most in need.

Together we offer children more than just a backpack – we give them confidence, motivation, and a start to the school year full of opportunities.
