YMCA Moldova visited the village of Vatici, Orhei district, where, together with local partners, they contribute to the development and consolidation of youth services for young people in rural areas. Through such initiatives, we aim to provide more opportunities for learning, involvement and personal development for young people facing various social, economic or geographical challenges.
Throughout the day, we created a friendly and interactive space where young people participated in personal development activities, critical thinking workshops, teamwork exercises and digital inclusion sessions, conducted through the YMCA Mobile Digital Hub. Participants had the opportunity to develop their skills, learn new things and discuss important topics for their educational and professional future. The program also included interactive activities, educational games and cultural moments organized with the active involvement of young people from the community, who demonstrated creativity, initiative and a desire to contribute to the development of their locality.
The activity is organized within the “Stronger Y’s” project, implemented in partnership with YMCA Sweden, with the support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
